Data and Account Deletion
This document explains how to request deletion of your AI72 account, what may stop being visible after the request, and which records may be retained for a limited period for safety, legal compliance, moderation, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, audit, dispute, or backup reasons.

1. Purpose
AI72 / IntroMe is a social and dating introduction platform with controlled introductions, temporary intro, permanent chat, media, voice, video, verification, safety, moderation, and legal consent records. Because of that, account deletion can mean quick user-facing visibility removal for some data and limited retention for other records.
2. How to request account deletion
If you can sign in, start the flow from Profile > App settings > Account or Profile / Menu > App settings > Account > Delete account. The app may ask for final confirmation; if the request is accepted, deletion starts and you may be signed out. If you cannot access the app, email support@ai72.app with your registered phone number, country code, and clear deletion request. Deletion will not start until account ownership is verified.
3. What happens after a request
AI72 may mark the account as deletion requested, close profile visibility, remove the profile from IntroMe, restrict new temporary intro or permanent chat creation, delete or disable push tokens and device records, remove public profile projections and user-facing profile fields, and attempt to delete or disable Firebase Auth credentials. AI72 does not guarantee that every record disappears instantly from every system, device, backup, or peer view.
4. Data that may be deleted or disabled
Deletion may include profile name and profile fields, country/city/language preferences, profile media, public profile projections, temporary intro states, permanent chat records stored under your account paths, voice transcription/translation records, settings, privacy settings, notification settings, push devices, device sessions, active session records, and user media storage paths. Some support tickets may be anonymized instead of fully deleted.
5. Records that may be retained
AI72 may retain legal consent records, deletion request records, security/audit logs, reports and moderation records, block/unblock history, ban/evasion/fraud-prevention signals, support/appeal communications, crash/debug records, backup copies, and future payment or tax records for safety, legal compliance, moderation, abuse prevention, audit, or dispute reasons. The current backend uses a 90-day retention window for certain account deletion, phone, install, and device-fingerprint retention records; some records may be retained longer where law or safety requires it.
6. Verification and liveness data
Live camera verification, primary profile photo consistency, profile consistency, and safety signals may be processed. After account deletion, raw verification media, derived media, verification results, or safety signals may be deleted, anonymized, made inaccessible, or retained for safety, review, compliance, fraud prevention, or legal process. These checks are not official identity verification, legal KYC, guaranteed gender, guaranteed age, guaranteed location, or a real-world safety guarantee. AI72 does not promise a fixed short deletion period for verification media.
7. Messages and permanent chats
Temporary intro messages and permanent chat messages may be deleted, disabled, anonymized, made inaccessible, or retained depending on product rules, safety, report state, moderation, delivery, legal obligations, and dispute needs. Content already delivered to another user may have complex visibility and retention behavior. Reported messages or media may be retained longer. Delete for me and delete for everyone, where available, are separate from account deletion.
8. Media and Shared Media
Photos, videos, voice messages, audio, TTS outputs, thumbnails, previews, signed URLs, access metadata, and Shared Media references may be affected by deletion. Media access may be removed, hidden, disabled, quarantined, deleted, anonymized, or retained under a safety or legal exception. Shared Media does not grant download or redistribution rights. AI72 may use in-app access controls but cannot fully prevent screenshots, screen recording, another-device recording, or copies moved outside the app.
9. Temporary intro data
Temporary intro sessions, pass, leave, reveal, blur/clear photo access, signed URLs, lifecycle metadata, matchability, presence/foreground state, safety checks, and debug metadata may be closed or deleted during account deletion. Some lifecycle metadata may be retained for safety, debugging, legal, audit, moderation, or abuse-prevention purposes.
10. Reports, blocks, and moderation records
Reports by you, reports against you, blocks/unblocks, moderation decisions, media quarantine/disabled/removed records, appeal/support history, child safety, exploitation, threat, scam, and abuse records may be retained after account deletion to protect other users, prevent repeat abuse, respond to legal requests, preserve evidence, or resolve disputes.
11. Legal consent records
Records showing acceptance of Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Safety Center, AI Disclosure, Moderation and Reporting Policy, Notifications and Chat Actions, Account and Data Deletion, Data Safety and Permissions, and Support may be retained for compliance, disputes, and legal defense.
12. Notification and device records
Push tokens, device records, notification preview settings, delivery metadata, and notification action metadata may be deleted, disabled, anonymized, or retained for a limited period. After account deletion, AI72 may stop notification delivery and remove push tokens. Some delivery, audit, security, and abuse-prevention logs may remain for limited retention.
13. Payments and subscriptions
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate processes. Deleting your AI72 account or uninstalling the app may not automatically cancel your App Store / Google Play subscription. You must manage and cancel the subscription separately through Apple ID / App Store subscription settings or Google Play subscriptions. Payment, tax, transaction, receipt, entitlement, refund, fraud, accounting, legal, and dispute records may be retained by Apple/Google or AI72 under applicable law and platform rules. Account deletion or account restriction does not guarantee a refund.
14. Backups, logs, and caches
Backup copies may remain for a limited period. Security, callable, crash, debug, analytics, audit, Firebase/GCP, and abuse-prevention logs may be retained for limited periods. Signed URLs and cache access may expire under product rules. Local device cache removal may require uninstalling the app or using device settings.
15. User rights and support
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, you may have rights to access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, consent withdrawal, and complaint to a competent authority. KVKK, GDPR, UK GDPR, US state privacy laws, LGPD, and other local laws may require additional processes. Use in-app support or support@ai72.app for requests.
16. What account deletion does not guarantee
Account deletion cannot delete screenshots, screen recordings, or another-device recordings made by other users; recover information moved outside AI72; instantly erase every backup, log, cache, or audit record; guarantee immediate deletion of report, abuse, moderation, legal, or dispute records; or guarantee that previously delivered content disappears instantly from every peer view.
17. Account deletion, uninstall, and block are different
Uninstalling the app is not account deletion. Turning off push permissions is not account deletion. Uninstalling the app without canceling a subscription may not cancel the subscription. Blocking another user does not delete your account. Delete for me may only affect your own view. Delete for everyone, where available, is subject to product rules. Account deletion is a broader account and data process.
18. Mistakes, appeals, and recovery
If you started deletion by mistake, contact support@ai72.app as soon as possible. Recovery is not guaranteed. After deletion or anonymization is completed, some data may not be restorable. Deletion requests after a moderation ban, safety incident, fraud signal, or legal request may be subject to safety and legal retention exceptions.
